Our limited release birthday beer is named in honour of our home suburb, Mortdale, or literally translated from Latin ‘Valley of the Dead.’

Named after a pioneer of refrigerated shipping, it’s fitting we chose Mortdale as the home of St George’s first brewery!

The third (2025) edition of this Triple Dry-Hopped Double IPA delights the senses with a huge and complex stone fruit profile from Freestyle Hops Rakau Hop Kief (the equivalent of a 5kg dry hop!) backing up a big late addition of Superdelic.

Our aim is to make beers which can be enjoyed as a social occasion, bringing the community together. Our beers are brewed using NSW Riverina malts from Voyager Craft Malt, and every batch is carefully crafted. We celebrate the St George area, with irreverent designs and beer crafted to be enjoyed.
